Stories, Games and Learning (16 July 2010)
NuSkills Learning and Development, in partnership with CIT Children's Services Department and the ACT Professional Support Coordinator, is delighted to present a free Family Day Care Conference for all of the ACT region's Family Day Care providers and scheme staff on Saturday 17 July from 9.30 am in the Tuggeranong Community and Function Centre.

Specialised Training Rooms now operating at the Tuggeranong Community and Function Centre (15 July 2010)
The Federal Minister for Canberra, Ms Annette Ellis MP, today opened new facilities at Communities@Work that will improve vocational education and training for the Tuggeranong region.

OzHarvest Canberra - A ‘Food For Thought’ Fundraising Dinner (7 June 2010)
OzHarvest Canberra, Canberra’s only food rescue charity, will once again be hosting a fundraising dinner and charity auction to raise funds for its ongoing operation.  The annual Food for Thought dinner and auction will be held at the Restaurant@CIT in Reid on Wednesday 9 June commencing at 6.30 pm, and will be attended by over 160 OzHarvest Canberra supporters from across the community.

CA Donates the Brumbies to OzHarvest Canberra! (29 April 2010)
On the 1st May, for one night only the CA Brumbies will be known as the OzHarvest Canberra Brumbies.

The Fire on Saturday 10 April at Richardson Child Care and Education Centre has only strengthened an already wonderful community partnership that the Richardson Community Hub has nurtured over the last 12 months

Food Rescue Moves up a gear  (5 February 2010)
OzHarvest Canberra managed by Communities@Work welcomes the arrival of a second van this week. “We can now rescue more food and deliver more meals to people who need it.  OzHarvest Canberra currently delivers 22,000 meals a month. With a new van, we can’t wait to see what we can do!” said Dave Burnet, OzHarvest Canberra Coordinator.

Big Step Forward for the Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club Inc. (29 January 2010)
The new management committee of the Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club has not been idle since their election on 8 December 2009.  Their Certificate of Incorporation as an independent Association was issued by the ACT Registrar General on 21 January 2010 under the terms of the Associations Incorporation Act 1991.

Brumbies Support OzHarvest Canberra (Friday 13 November 2009)
As part of the CA Brumbies’ involvement in the Canberra community the players and key support staff will embark on an off-road charity mountain bike ride from Canberra to Mt Kosciuszko to raise funds for OzHarvest Canberra and Outward Bound’s Regional Community Partnerships program.

Annette Shipley Communities@Work’s Occupational Health Officer has taken out the 2009 Safe Work ACT Awards for, Best Individual Contribution to Workplace Health and Safety.

A dining room and kitchen with a difference at Appletree Child Care and Education Centre (23 September 2009)
One of Communities@Works longest operating child care centres has introduced a new children’s only dining room and kitchen.
