What will my child be doing during the day?

Our early child care programs are extremely varied and reflect the individuality of each centre.

A typical day may include playing with water, sand and blocks either inside the centre or in the garden areas. The children can explore musical instruments, enjoy drama and dance activities dabble in painting and cooking, and go on little excursions and visit the library. Our centre staff balance the day with reading and poetry and free play time. The children have structured eating times and are taught good hygiene habits. Most centres include a rest time in the afternoons.

How can I be involved?

We value and encourage families to provide feedback on our programs. Regular communication between staff and families helps develop future programs and ensures that the needs of the children are met.

Working together we can offer choices to suit changing family lifestyles. What we may ask you to do is attend family meetings with centre staff, participate in the surveys we run, and to feel comfortable to discuss centre operations with staff if and when you need to.
