Q: What sort of programs do you provide?
A: Our programs aim to cover a wide range of issues, with a focus on issues relevant to children and parenting. Topics may include:
- anger management
- parenting teenagers
- dealing effectively with parenting issues such as peer pressure, violence, drugs and sexual health
- early childhood behaviour management issues (eg. Tantrums, defiant behaviour)
- learning more about children’s development
Q: How do I access the program?
A: Our sessions are advertised regularly through a variety of forums. If you’d like to access any of them you can either contact us directly and/or send in the relevant registration form for the session you are interested in.
Q: Is there a fee for your services?
A: Participants in our community education sessions are asked to pay a contribution toward their attendance. This contribution is advertised when the group programs are announced.
Q: How often are sessions offered?
A: Our sessions are offered regularly throughout the year, with a revised set of topics developed on a six monthly basis.
Q: Where are the sessions held?
A: Depending on demand and group sizes sessions may be held at a variety of venues in Tuggeranong and Weston Creek. This information will be made available when each session is announced.
