About the Role
Communities at Work's Marketing and Communications team helps drive the delivery of the organisation's strategic plan and create a positive social impact in the ACT and Capital Region. As a member of the team, reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will work collaboratively with a small, supportive and innovative team to pursue funding opportunities and deliver excellent outcomes for our clients. This role, based at our Weston Creek office, contributes significantly to organisational success, growth, innovation, and the development and promotion of Communities at Work as a leader in the community sector.
This position would suit someone early in their career, or currently studying toward a related qualification.Some of the responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Taking a business development approach to write grant proposals and tender applications and seek and pursue other funding opportunities
- Creating outstanding client outcomes through transformative customer experiences
- Supporting the creation and delivery of content for various marketing and communication channels, such as website, social media, eDMs, and other internal and external channels
About You
If you are someone with a desire to create a lasting social impact in the Canberra region through the delivery of exceptional customer experience, and through pursuing funding opportunities, this position is for you.
Ideally, you will be someone with:
- Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong understanding of customer experience (CX) principles and how to implement them to improve client outcomes
- Demonstrated administration and coordination experience
