Supporting Children with Sensory Processing Challenges within their Learning Environment

Presented by Occupational Therapists from Kids’ Space OT, this course provides participants with an understanding of what sensory processing is and what it might look like when children have sensory processing difficulties.  Participants will leave with practical strategies to implement within their education centre/school to support the children they work with.

Cost: $125 + BF

Key Outcomes:

  • An understanding of what sensory processing really means and an overview of the different sensory systems.
  • An understanding of what it might look like when children have sensory processing challenges
  • How to support children with sensory processing challenges, including children with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD within their learning environment.
