Understanding Sex and Gender Diversity

Understanding Sex and Gender Diversity Workshop by Communities at Work CPLE

Sex and Gender Diversity Workshop (Virtual) Presented by A Gender Agenda (AGA)

This workshop is open to anyone in the Canberra community.

This two-hour workshop is delivered by ACT’s leading trans, gender diverse and intersex peer support organisation A Gender Agenda and is for everyday people who want to better understand and support the intersex, trans and gender diverse community.

In the workshop, we will explore the basic concepts of sex (bodies) and gender as well as the language used within the intersex, trans and gender diverse community. We’ll provide a judgement-free, welcoming environment where you can ask the questions that you might feel too awkward or embarrassed to ask elsewhere so that you can be a better ally at work and in everyday life.
