This session will take a look into the signs and effects of childhood anxiety and trauma and provide educators with some strategies to help support children through these challenges.

Anxiety disorders are one of the most common psychological disorders displayed by children and research has shown us that children with anxiety disorders are more likely to continue experiencing severe anxiety throughout adulthood. What are some of the signs of early childhood anxiety and how can we, as educators, help support children who exhibit anxious traits? This session will take a look into the signs and effects of childhood anxiety and trauma and provide educators with some strategies to help support children through these challenges.
