Promoting Positive Behaviours through Respectful Relationships QA 5

This session will invite all educators to reflect upon the challenging situations they are experiencing at their service and use these personal examples to practically develop an understanding of the reasons and theories behind the behaviour.

Biting, hitting, snatching… these are just some of the behavioural responses from children that educators can find challenging to support. Why do children engage in these behaviours? This session will invite all educators to reflect upon the challenging situations they are experiencing at their service and use these personal examples to practically develop an understanding of the reasons and theories behind the behaviour. Strategies will be discussed as we explore the guiding principles behind promoting positive behaviours through respectful relationships.
