Here’s how you can help people in need this winter
Donate money
We’ll use your money donations to stock our community pantries with food and essential items, to help people in need in our local community. We may also use your donations to provide emergency relief to an individual or family in need.
Click on the button below to visit our donate money page and find out more. (Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible).

Payroll donations
Support the Winter Appeal directly from your pay by donating a small pre-tax amount, even as little as $5, each pay cycle. It’s simple, cost effective, and adds up to a big impact over time. Some employers may even match donations, helping your gift go even further. Ask your employer if a program is in place.

Donate food
We help over 20,000 Canberrans with heavily discounted food, household items, and personal care products at our Tuggeranong and Gungahlin pantries.
For more information on what you can donate, where to drop off your donations, and how your donations can help, visit our Donate Food page.

Our pantries don’t get government funding. We rely on donations and support from our local community. Thank you for your support!
Organise a Community Food Collection (CANstruction)
Thinking of donating food to our winter appeal? Have some fun by encouraging family, friends, work colleagues or clients to help you build a heart of food! Create a heart shape with tinned food and fill it with other non-perishable food items then donate it to our Communities at Work food pantries to help people in need.
How big will your heart be? We’d love to see your photos or videos of how your heart grows!
