Family Day Care
If you're looking for child care that offers a personalised, consistent and home-based approach for your child, then Family Day Care maybe for you.
Our Family Day Care Scheme provides quality care for children in home environments of approved Family Day Care carers. Carers are experienced and skilled individuals earning their income by caring for small groups of children in their own homes.
The hours of care are flexible and include full-time care, regular part-time care, roster care, before and after school care, 24 hour care, casual on-call and weekend care. There are options available to suit just about any need.
Family Day Care is governed by regulations and standards and operates under guidelines of a national accreditation system. Communities@Work staff from our coordination unit oversee and work with carers to support children's learning and development.
Coordination unit staff also build supportive relationships with families. They advise on home based child care standards and promote the highest possible quality care environment for your child.
