The Denman Village Community Centre opened in March 2022 and is the first purpose-built community and function centre in the Molonglo Valley. With 6 rooms catering from 10 to 78 people, we have the perfect space for your event.
Venue Hire at Denman Prospect
Located at 5 Felstead Vis, Denman Prospect, the Denman Village Community Centre opened in March 2022 and is the first purpose-built community and function facility in the Molonglo Valley.
With 6 rooms catering for 10 to 78 people, we have the perfect space for your event.
Available for hire seven days a week, we cater for community, corporate and other events, with rooms having their own kitchenettes or access to a shared kitchen, and AV equipment.
The rooms of the Denman Village Community Centre have been named thanks to Bagariin Ngunnawal Cultural Consulting and the Winanggaay Ngunnawal Language Group, with each name carefully chosen to reflect the local environment surrounding the Denman Village Community Centre.
Our rooms are highly versatile and can cater to a variety of layouts, activities and occasions:
- Bugang (Capacity: 66)
- Molonglo I and Molonglo II, which can be combined if a larger function space is required (Capacity: 39 each or 78 combined)
- Namarag (Capacity: 30)
- Winanggaay (Capacity: 32)
- Maliyan (Boardroom) (Capacity: 10)

Other Information
Priority is given to community groups, not-for-profit organisations or groups providing activities open to the general public.
Please note that Communities at Work has a no-alcohol policy for all room hires.
All rooms are multipurpose with tables and chairs available.

Hours
The centre is open Monday to Friday, 9 am – 4.30 pm. Venue hirers can access the premises 7 days a week, from 7 am to 10 pm, during their booking times.
