Communities at Work

Communities at Work is delighted to announce the appointment of our new Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Colefax, who begins her new role on 4 October 2022.

Board Chair Alan Greenslade said, “Michelle was chosen in a competitive selection process from a strong field of candidates. Michelle is committed to contributing to the wellbeing and capacity development of families and individuals in the community. She brings a wealth of experience and skills, demonstrated through her former roles as Chief Executive Officer and Deputy CEO of the St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn.”

I am excited to build on the foundation established by my predecessor Lee Maiden, to further scale the Communities at Work services in driving even greater outcomes for families and individuals in our community. I look forward to working closely with the Board, all the Communities at Work teams, the community and partner providers to capitalise on the many opportunities ahead and usher in Communities at Work’s next chapter of growth and success.”
