Help shape the future of Denman Prospect

Enabling Capacity Building and Asset Based Community Development in new and emerging communities is a key area of focus for our Community Development Team.

Communities at Work invites everyone in the community to take part in our 2026 Community Consultation Survey. We welcome feedback from people of all cultures, languages and backgrounds, including community members, program participants, local groups, service providers, staff and volunteers.

Your feedback will help us understand what is currently working well, what needs to improve and what the community may need in the future. It will help shape future programs, services and partnerships, and support the development of an inclusive, welcoming and sustainable Denman Prospect.

What we would like to hear about

Please tell us about:

  • Your experience of current programs, activities and spaces at the Denman Village Community Centre
  • Anything that makes it difficult for you to take part or use services, including language, transport, cost, disability access or cultural needs
  • The activities, services, facilities, opening hours and locations you would like in the future
  • How Denman Village Community Centre can be more welcoming, accessible, culturally safe and connected to the local community
  • Ideas for volunteering, partnerships and services delivered together with community organisations

How your feedback will be used

We will consider survey responses together with feedback from pop-up consultations, face-to-face conversations and local organisations. The findings will help us make practical recommendations and plan future programs and services for the Denman Prospect community.

Your answers will be kept confidential. We will report results only as a summary and without information that identifies you. We will use demographic information only to check whether we have heard from a broad range of people in the community. Your feedback will help shape community spaces, programs and services that meet local needs.

Alternate Formats
