We provide Before School Care, After School Care and School Holiday Programs at Charles Weston School.
At Communities at Work’s Out of School Hours Care, we are focused on children having fun. Our educators collaborate with children to ensure play, leisure and recreational opportunities are safe and meaningful.
Before School Care at Charles Weston
Our before school care programs operate from 7.30 am until school commences at the Charles Weston School. Before school care is about helping children have the best possible start to their school day, by offering fun recreational activities and a light nutritional breakfast.
After School Care at Charles Weston
Our after school care programs at Charles Weston operate during school term from the conclusion of school until 6.00 pm daily. Each program is distinctive in its operation by the nature of the school environment, the interests of children and the local community. We provide the children with a nutritious afternoon tea and offer a range of recreational games and activities designed to allow your child to have fun.

Charles Weston School Holiday Programs
All Communities at Work’s School Holiday Programs operate during weekdays from 7.30am – 6pm
Our school holiday programs provide an environment that encourages children to meet and make new friends, try new things and participate in a variety of activities.

Fees for Before and After School Care
- Before School Care daily rate (permanent) is $29.90
- After School Care daily rate (permanent) is $41.70
Effective from 29 June 2026. Please note this rate is before the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is applied, if eligible.

Fees for School Holiday Programs
The daily rate for our school holiday program is:
- $98.90 for in-service days, i.e. days on which educators at the service run activities for the children.
- $116.30 for incursion days, i.e. days on which external providers bring in special activities to the school holiday program.
- $138.50 for excursion days, i.e. days on which educators and children visit an external location from the school holiday program location for fun activities.
Casual bookings incur an additional $4 fee per session.
