Winter Appeal – Build a Heart of Food
Looking for a fun team-building activity? Thinking of donating food to our Winter Appeal?
Take the Heart of Food Challenge! Encourage your family, friends, work colleagues or clients to help you build a big heart of food! Create a heart shape with tinned food and fill it with other non-perishable food items. Then donate the food to our Communities at Work food pantries to help people in need. How big can you grow your heart? We’d love to see your photos or videos of how your heart grows! 🙂
Resources in the Toolkit

Food Drive
With the cost of living rising, many people in our local community are struggling and worry how they will put food on the table to feed their families. We want to help them so we’re running a donation drive to collect food for those in need. Donations will help Communities at Work to stock their community food pantries. Please support our drive and bring your donations to [insert collection point] by [insert end of drive date]. They especially need tinned food at the moment. Thanks! CANstruction Drive
With the cost of living rising, many people in our local community are struggling and worry how they will put food on the table to feed their families. We want to help them so we’re running a donation drive to collect food for those in need. This is a great way to help Communities at Work stock their community food pantries.
We thought we’d make this donation drive even more fun by doing a CANstruction drive. That’s where you get to create interesting structures out of canned food and other essential items. So, organise a team, pick your theme, start collecting cans and build a creative food masterpiece! Judging will be held on [insert date]. For more info see …….
