Communities at Work is dedicated to supporting the Canberra community and the most vulnerable through continuous support services that operate all year round. With the generous help of our donors and supporters, we’re able to provide essential services and assistance to those who need it most, making a real difference in people’s lives.

We’ll use your monetary donations to stock our community pantries with food and essential items, to help people in need in our local community. We may also use your donations to provide emergency relief or clothing to an individual or family in need.

Please note: We are currently not accepting clothes donations
We are always happy to accept donations of food (everyday meals, baby needs, tinned food, gluten-free food, etc) and other essential items (personal hygiene items, cleaning products etc) for our community pantries. We don’t get any government assistance to run our pantries, so rely on generous community donations. If you need clothes, please call 6293 6500 to make an appointment for our clothing program.
Your clothing donations support our clothing program, helping vulnerable people in the Canberra region get dressed for interviews, work, special occasions and other important events.
