Vocational Education and Training
Our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivers vocational education and training primarily in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. Whether you’re looking to begin a career in this sector, work with young children, advance your career, or upskill in business administration and professional development, we’re the RTO for you. We will arm you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience you need to kickstart or accelerate a career in the early childhood sector. We can also assist you in starting a career in Business Administration.
Nationally Recognised Courses & Qualifications
We offer two early childhood education and care qualifications: the CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Additionally, we offer the BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration.
Professional Development Training & Workshops
Our professional development training sessions and workshops are for individuals across a myriad of community services sectors. These training sessions can be booked by anyone looking to upskill, increase their knowledge, or gain an understanding of professional practices on a session-by-session basis. Additionally, we offer customised professional development training for children’s services settings across Canberra.
Government-funded subsidies and entitlements
There are funded study subsidies and entitlements you may be eligible when enrolled into our nationally recognised professional qualifications such as User Choice and Skilled Captial funding. To identify if you are eligible for these, please access the information located on the Skills Canberra website. Our CPLE staff will also be able to answer any questions you have regarding these options.
Ascend Program: Paid Traineeship in the Early Years
If you are passionate about starting a career in the early education and care sector but don’t know where to begin, consider our Ascend Program. The program is an industry-leading traineeship where selected candidates will be able to work across our children’s services without any experience in Education and Care sector, while completing a nationally recognised CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Education and Care qualification whilst getting paid.
