We specialise in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector as well as cater to Business Administration.

Vocational Education and Training

Our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivers vocational education and training primarily in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. Whether you’re looking to begin a career in this sector, work with young children, advance your career, or upskill in business administration and professional development, we’re the RTO for you.  We will arm you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience you need to kickstart or accelerate a career in the early childhood sector. We can also assist you in starting a career in Business Administration.

Nationally Recognised Courses & Qualifications

We offer two types of early childhood qualifications: Diploma and Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. We also offer a skillset in Building Inclusive Practices in Early Childhood Education. Additionally, we offer a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Professional Development Training & Workshops

Our professional development training sessions and workshops are for individuals across a myriad of sectors, including early childhood education and care, and beyond. These training sessions can be booked into by anyone looking to upskill, increase their knowledge, or gain an understanding of professional practices on a session-by-session basis. Additionally, we offer customised professional development training for children’s services across Canberra.

Traineeships and Funding Options

There are different funding pathways through which you can study any of our nationally recognised professional qualifications. You can opt for Subsidised Government Study (Skilled Capital Funding), User-Choice Funding (Traineeships), and Fee for Service. Depending on your eligibility, you may also qualify for JobTrainer funding.

Ascend Program: Paid Child Care Traineeship

If you are passionate about starting a career in the early education and care sector but don’t know where to begin, consider our Ascend Program. The program is an industry-leading traineeship where selected candidates will be able to work across our children’s services without any experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, while completing a nationally recognised qualification and getting paid full-time.

Our Centre of Professional Learning and Education is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Our passionate team specialises in delivering vocational education and training (VET) qualifications with quality, evidence-based approaches.

We’re the two-time proud winner of the Large Employer of the Year Award at the ACT Training Awards 2019 and 2020.

Our methods consist of a range of teaching and learning strategies. These include face to face workshops, workshop tasks, projects, online learning, and hands-on experience within the work environment. As an RTO, we take our obligation to support learners very seriously and ensure the highest quality of training and assessment services.
