About Our Careers Information Sessions
We organise careers sessions from time to time to provide valuable information to interested participants about working with Communities@Work, particularly in our Children’s Services.
These information sessions are for people interested in working in the sector and who don’t have relevant qualifications to become an educator. The sessions provide information on gaining paid work experience with us while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (which is the minimum requirement to become an educator).
Register for the Information Session if:
- You want to get a job in Early Childhood Education and Care
- You have no qualifications in the sector
- You want to earn while you learn (i.e. work and study at the same time)
The information session will also give you a chance to ask any questions so you can make informed decisions regarding your options and career pathways.
After receiving the information provided during the session, if you are ready to apply for a traineeship, you can sit for the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment on the same day. You must pass the LLN Assessment if you wish to be considered as a candidate and start your application process with Communities@Work.
At the moment, we don’t have any information sessions coming up, but you can contact our Registered Training Organisation on 02 6293 6220 if you wish to work and study with us under a traineeship and kickstart a career in Children’s Services.
If you have questions regarding this session, please contact our RTO Team on 02 6293 6220 or firstname.lastname@example.org
