Ascend Program Information Session

About Our Ascend Program Information Sessions

Do you want to become a qualified early childhood educator? Want to gain valuable paid work experience while you study your qualification? The Ascend Program may be exactly what you’re looking for.

The Ascend Program is a sector-leading paid traineeship offered by Communities at Work. It utilises the “user-choice funding” model by the ACT Government, to offer selected candidates the opportunity to earn while they learn. The Centre of Professional Learning and Education (CPLE) is our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 88148) that delivers the nationally recognised qualification of CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification as part of the Ascend Program. Our People, Culture & Wellness (PCW) team manages the employment component of the program.

If you become successful in your application for the Ascend Program, you will be offered full-time paid employment as an Early Childhood Trainee with us, requiring you to work and study for a period of approximately 15 months.

To help you understand how the program works, what the application process entails, and whether this traineeship is the right fit for you, attend our free Ascend Program Information session and feel free to ask any questions.

Information Sessions now open for registration for March 2022 Intake (please only register after you have submitted an application for the Ascend Program):
